The editor of The Statesman Journal/Stayton Mail sent an email asking if there are any students or parents that would like to contribute articles, summaries or pictures for the sports page. The reporter we have had the past few years (Rob Holderness) has gone back to school and they are not going to replace him. We will, of course, continue to get results published in the paper, but will not have time to do reporting. There is no pay, but would be good experience for someone interested in reporting.
